Abby and Brinkleys Spring Litter-$1000.00

Here you will find pictures our our Spring 2011, F1 Standard Goldendoodle litter and updated information. Puppies were born May 14th and will be able to go home July 9th. Abby had 5 Girls and 3 Boys Puppies are chosen in the order deposits are received between 4 and 5 weeks old. Pictures and litter information will be updated regularly.
May 21 2011- The puppies are now 1 week old. They sleep, eat and grow. Their eyes should be opening sometime this week. Once their eyes are open you are more than welcome to visit, just schedule a visit. Abby is begining to go outside to play again but only leaves the puppies for a shoert time, no more than 15-20 minutes. We have color coded the puppies to make it easier for you over then next 7 weeks to tell which puppy is which in the pictures. The boys have black, blue and green collars. The girls have pink, purple, yellow, orange and red collars. Abby is not fond of her puppies new collars but the puppies do mind at all. Their weight chart is below and will be updated weekly. Please write down the weights if you would like to track your puppies growth. Their weights will jump weekly, this week PINK weighs the most, next week YELLOW could and the following week Green. So their size this early does not mean that one puppy will be bigger or smaller than another puppy as an adult. Also, please save any pictures you may want in the future. Our website only allows so many pictures on each page so we may need to delete earlier pictures in order to keep the pictures up to date. Please feel free to call 717-543-6029 or send an email with any questions you may have!
May 29, 2011 - 2 Weeks old, the puppies eyes are open and they are ooching all around. They received their first dose of dewormer, their first nail clipping, and a quick rinse under warm tap water (no soap yet). Blue and Yellow are very calm and laid back! They both laid on their back and let the warm water beat on their belly and sat still to get their little nails clipped. They all did great with their dewormer. Many of them like to sleep on their back. Next weeks pictures you will be able to see their little peepers. It is really hard to get pictures of them with their eyes open, they do not like the flash.
June 6, 2011 Abbys litter is 3 weeks old. They are starting to walk well and begining to play. The got their nails clipped, bats and their dewormer medicine. They didn't like it too much this week. We are starting to let them out in the floor to play a few minutes at a time. They are being held much more now. They all seem to be pretty laid back. They should find their little puppy voices sometime this week. Once one of them find it, they all do!
June 10, 2011 A beautiful litter and Hungry :) 4 weeks old tomorrow. They got their first taste of puppy portage and they loved it. Puppy portage is simply ground Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy food mixed with warm water to an apple sauce consistancy. They will get puppy portage every night before bed this week as we begin to wean them from Abby. We gradually use less water and less grinding, this way by 6 1/2 to 7 weeks they are on regular hard puppy food. They all have sharp little teeth now, Abby is not to fond of the teeth but still tolerating them for short periods at a time. They are walking very well and a few are trying to pick up the pace. They are getting baths twice a week now they all seem to still like it. They will get their 4 week dose of dewormer tomorrow. You will start seeing bigger jumps in weight over the next 4 weeks with weeks 6 and 7 being their biggest growth spurts. For those of you who have not yet chosen your puppy, this is the week to choose. Please let us know as soon as you decide so we can begin finding homes for the remaining puppies.
June 19, 2011- 5 Weeks old and running about the house! They have become quite familiar with our home this week. As you can see by their growth chart they are really starting to grow. They are still sleeping quite a bit but they let us know when they are awake. They are all still doing well with baths. The have figured out that the "big dogs" eat hard food and they know where to find it, in the kitchen. They are transfering them from puppy portage to soggy hard food. (unground food soaked in warm water for about 5-8 minutes). Abby has just about had it with all the little teeth gnawing at her. She lets them feed very briefly while she is cleaning them. They are now up to 3 meals a day (puppy food). I must add that Heidi (yellow) should be a movie star, as soon as she sees I have the camera, she stops and poses for me or does her best to get my attention. Cece and Cooper so laid back, they just follow along with whatever the rest of the puppies are doing. Brennan, also laid back, has tons of character he has figured out that if he lays on another puppies head, they will wake up and play with him.
June 28th, 2011 - The puppies turned 6 weeks old Satuday June 25th. They were weighed, got baths, a new collar, their nails clipped, dewormed and their first puppy shot! It was a busy day for Bill and the boys. I was gone for 5 five days for my nephews graduation and they grew like weeds while I was gone. They were well spoiled. They are running around the house like they own the place. Cece know enjoys trying to ride on the broom as I sweep. Heidi lets me know when she wants out of the kitches, she and Brenan have found their real barks and sing in hamony together. Cooper loves to play with Leia! He follows her all over. The puple girl and green boy are very very calm! Pink Girl is a diva and loves to be the center of attention.
July 2, 2011 The puppies are now 7 weeks old and only 1 week to go. I will send all of you an email with important information regarding your new puppy going home. Please let me know if you have any questions once you receive the email. Also, please schedule your pick up time on July 9th, we like to give each family an hour so we can answer your questions and go over your puppies information. Visit our SCHEDULE A VISIT PAGE. Please note final payments can be made on our website, with a credit card when you pick your puppy up or with cash, we cannot accept personal checks for your final payment. This s one of the most laid back litters we have had. Every puppy seems to have that Happy go Lucky temperment, none of them are super hyper they seem to have the perfect balance of puppy play and passiveness. They have spent some time outside on the deck playing in sun and taking naps in the shade. Suzy will lay on her back while all 8 puppies get her. I am not sure who loves it more, Suzy or the puppies.
July 8th - All of the puppies went to the vet today. They did great riding in the car! They all checked out with perfect scores on their health and temperament tests. Way to go Abby and Brinkley, 8 perfect puppies! Even the vet is amazed at how laid back they are. He said this is a great litter of pups!
