Nov. 26, 2011 - The puppies are all doing very well. They are gaining weight steadily. They are learning to walk rather thean ooch.
Nov. 28, 2011 - The puppies are opening their eyes. We have 9 out of 16 eyes open now, the rest should be open tomorrow. Did you know even though their eyes are open they will not be able to fully focus them until about 3-4 weeks old.
Dec. 2, 2011 - The puppies are all doing well, growing before our eyes. Their eyes are wide open and they are trying to see the world. They still sleep a lot which is a a crucial part of their development. They are learning to walk with their bellies off the ground and are doing a great job at it!
Dec. 16, 2011 - 4 Weeks old and finally the taste of puppy portage! Puppy portage is ground Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy food mixed with water. They all did a great job eating off the plate. They have very full little bellies. They got their 3rd dose of deowrmer and they love stuff, they suck it right out of the syringe. Their weights are starting to jump and will continue steadily. Their teeth are coming in. They love to be held and play in the floor.
Dec. 25, 2011 - 5 Weeks Old Merry Christmas! A bunch of characters we have here. They are on puppy portage full time now. They love to play and run all around no problems on the wood floors anymore. They are brave and starting to leave the living room and voyage to our dining room. They are starting to try to get out of their whelping box, I am sure they will be out on their own with in the week.
January 2, 2012- Happy New Year! They have grown like weeds over the past week. Though they still sleep plenty they get a lot of play time and socialization as well. They love to play with Chloe's litter! They are eating unground dog food now but it is still moistened with water.
January 17, 2012 - 5 of our 7 puppies are now in their new forever homes. They all are doing well adjusting. We still have 2 little girls, our little purple girl has a sweet bubbly personality and our green collar girl is always ready to play or cuddle up for an afternoon nap. They have very laid back, calm temperments. Both little girls will make amazing life long companions.
